Subject: Volunteers Needed For Hurricane Gustav Response
The people of Louisiana have again been affected by a major hurricane and there is a critical need for volunteers, especially those who have skills operating chainsaws and clearing debris.
Samaritan’s Purse has set up two Disaster Relief sites in Baton Rouge and Donaldsonville, a rural community with significant needs. We are now scheduling volunteers in these areas September 5 through mid to late September depending on the need.
Please join us in being the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors in need. To form a team or to serve as an individual volunteer:
A representative from Samaritan’s Purse will call you to schedule your team and give you more information about the site location and other specifics.
Thank you for standing with us as we serve the Louisiana area.
