What time are you thinking about going up? I have nothing going on and would be up for some gaming.

Subject: Upcoming gaming
Hey everyone.
So far, no one has replied to my forwarded email regarding a game day at the FFG Event Center on March 20th. Is there any interest at all? James, the guy whose email I forwarded, was wondering if anyone was planning to come. I, for one, am very familiar with busy schedules, so I'm not asking anyone to commit at this point. I just want to know if anyone has it on their radar.
A few other things I wanted to share quickly:
1. I think that I am actually going to the FFG EC tomorrow with Nate Beilke. Some of you (Mac at the very least) probably know Nate from Double Play. I think we'll head up some time in the early afternoon. A carpool could probably be arranged if anyone wanted to join us, otherwise we'd be happy to game with any of you if you just want to meet us there.
2. There is a game convention coming up in Rochester in late April. It's called Gamer's Reunion and this is the website: www.gamersreunion.com<http://www.gamersreunion.com>. They held it in September the last two years and have decided to move it to April this year. I went this past September and had a great time. It is not as large of an event as Con of the North, but it had a great variety of games to play.
There is a discount for preregistering for the event ($15 for the whole weekend), but pre-registration ends on Sunday (3/7). On top of that, you can get a $5 refund for every 4hrs that you spend as a GM. However, you have to pre-register to be able to GM. Once you register, they give you a password for the website and you can setup your game schedule for the whole weekend if you wish. There is a mixed bag of game pieces and goodies at the door, charity auctions and game give-aways all weekend, and vendors on-site. I had a great time in September.
3. I know Tim would like to set up a game of Diplomacy on a Saturday some time when several of us are available. If the stars ever align properly for that, I'm in. In the meantime... Here are two websites that I have used to play Diplomacy: www.gamesbyemail.com<http://www.gamesbyemail.com> and www.playdiplomacy.com<http://www.playdiplomacy.com>. There are different pros and cons to either site, but I'd gladly hop in a game or two with you guys if anyone is interested.
I plan to be at DP on Tuesday with a bagful of games that I've been itching to play.
That is all.
-Jeremy

I am interested in the April convention. I'll start looking into my
availability... though my gut feeling is a day trip will be most
acceptible to the boss :-)
