In TS3 there will be an exclamation mark icon in the bottom center on blue square background (at least in the default iconpack). If that icon is displayed it means that the client cannot decrypt your synchronized items and cannot request a new recovery key. You can double click or right click said icon to have the option to enter your recovery key. If it gets rejected try again a few times.

So i am having kinda the same problem. i reset my password and i have my recovery key but every time i put it in i get " Failed to restore recovery key" is there something i am doing wrong or what do i need to do bc im lost.

I of course tried to uninstall my client and keep the data, to ensure not losing them all, since I now only got some local favorites and my settings left.
Shall I try to copy my data, and reinstall teamspeak again without keeping my data?
Could it be possible that one of the keys is working afterwards?

With the first startup TeamSpeak creates the SQLite database at /var/lib/teamspeak3-server/ts3server.sqlitedb and starts logging its standard output in files in: /var/log/teamspeak3-server/. Teamspeak also creates the first ServerQuery administration account (the superuser) and the first virtual server including a privilege key for the server administrator of this virtual server. The privilege key is only displayed once on standard output.

When booting your system with the ipv6.disable=1 kernel parameter to disable the IPv6 stack, Teamspeak will not be able to start with the default configuration. Edit /etc/teamspeak3-server.ini to change the listening IPs.

The error message "Unable to open /config/licensekey.dat, falling back to limited functionality" is shown, because you have not purchased a full server licese and are operating a server which can only host up to 32 clients (i.e. limited functionality).

So apparently it is accessible for others but i can only use the internal IP. Seems NAT reflection isn't working as it should for Teamspeak. I can connect to other services fine with NAT reflection working as it should just not for teamspeak for some reason...

You can reach it if you connect with your local ip? But not remotely? Are you sure it's not just from inside your network like others because of nat loopback?
Have you tried to reach it from outside your network? And if so, and it still dont work, then I would recommend you go over your port forwarding rules again.

Sounds really weird. If you haven't tried it already, I would remove the docker, and all the files and start from scratch in Host mode. I just pulled another and it worked straight away. You are sure you can reach other dockers from inside your network with your external ip?
Some logs would also help, fresh supervisor, server log and run command to be safe

So I got the docker installed, tested it and can connect with the client, but I still can't login via the command line to do anything. I get the "welcome" text when I telnet in, but no prompt. Everything I type comes back with an error. IE "error id=1538 msg=invalid\sparameter" when I type "help" or "login"

Hello binhex. I'm using your docker for about 2 months now and it worked all fine.
Today my group and I were online and it just crashed from one second to another without any warning.
Now I can't connect on the TS Server. Everything else works fine on my server. (Plex etc.)
I did restart the TS3 docker and later on the server. I still can't connect.
Checked the Ports on my router, all fine. Checket my dns service, allso working.
Checket the logs and found this error: (the colours are as they are in the log)

i thought so, in that case you are running into the unraid bug with sqlite databases, you can simply restore all your files located in /config (assuming you have a backup) but this will only fix it temporarily until it happens again.

obviously whatever option you choose you will still need to either restore your database back to a working version, or if no backups then you would need to delete everything in /config for this container and re-configure from scratch..

I see, is this because the current version of teamspeak server in the nixpkgs module is 3.10.2 as opposed to the latest version 3.12.1? could I create a more recent version in a local copy of nixpkgs that I include with:

Thanks for getting back so fast. How would I do that though? I also tried fetching packages from unstable as to this answer but how do I tell services.teamspeak3.enable = true; to use the ts3 server from unstable?

Next, use the download link to get the latest TeamSpeak server software. Choose the 64-bit version. We recommend using the wget command to download TeamSpeak software directly to the VPS:

While the TeamSpeak server is now running, you still need the privilege key. You will need to paste it when connecting to the server for the first time. First, switch to the teamspeak user:

Before proceeding with the next step, go to the DNS Zone Editor on your domain registrar account. In this example, we will use a domain name registered via Hostinger. However, the steps should be similar using other registrars as well.

I am using teamspeak 3 without the plugin you have in the testing repo. i have stopped the one am using and tried the plugin but not allowing me to enable it i get an error after i try to enable it.

The way i installed my TS3, i just created a user and dragged my old TS3 in the user folder and run it thats all what i did.
For the plugin i just stopped the old TS3 and installed the plugin and tried to run it and it gave me the above error. I don't think its something to do with the TS which already on the system because its not running and i haven't placed any files in /etc/init.d, all i do to run the old one is ''/home/ts3/serversfiles/ ./ts3server_startscript.sh start/stop'' thats all so that wont effect the plugin if the old server is off.

I have removed the plugin and it deleted my other teamspeak server lol but i got a backup of it, reinstalled and worked restored my server settings to the plugin and everything works.
also placed my licensekey.dat and all perfectly working.

Once your email has been confirmed, your license will be processed within one hour or less, and an email containing your license key will be sent to this email address.

TO ACTIVATE YOUR LICENSE:
1) Place the attached licensekey.dat file on the root directory of your TeamSpeak 3 Server installation folder.
2) STOP AND RESTART the TeamSpeak 3 Server master binary (exe) process.

TeamSpeak licensing is only required for self-hosters or host providers. Below you will find information on the available license types. Please contact our Sales and Licensing team if you have any questions regarding these options.

TeamSpeak is provided free of charge for non-commercial groups or individuals who wish to host their own servers. To use TeamSpeak without a license, simply download and install the TeamSpeak 3 Server - no signup is required. Unlicensed use of TeamSpeak 3 is limited to a single virtual server with up to 32 concurrent users (slots).

Non-profit licensing is for non-commercial groups or individuals who would be eligible to use TeamSpeak unlicensed, but require more servers or slots than are available without a license. To use a TeamSpeak Non-Profit License (NPL), you will need to register an account and provide your name, contact information, and an active email address which will be used to generate and deliver your license key. To use your license, you simply download and install the TeamSpeak 3 Server and copy your licensekey.dat file into the server directory. A TeamSpeak 3 NPL is limited to a maximum of two virtual servers and up to 512 combined slots. An NPL is issued for a period of six months and is automatically renewed for an additional six months if the license is still in-use.
