Dear Friends-

Hello from the Heartland!

We are slowly adjusting to our new life in Kansas CIty, MO and running Maya Yoga studio.

We have been lucky that the weather has been warm and that the fall leaves are all around us, it's very beautiful here and the people are very kind.

Of course we miss LA and all of our yoga friends and family, so we hope you will come visit us one day, or that we see you in Santa Monica in Feb.

We just hosted Bryan Kest last weekend at our studio and it was a huge success!  Students traveled from all over the country to take class with Bryan, because he had made a positive impact on their lives, thru his DVDs over the years.

It was an exciting and inspiring weekend for everyone!

ELECTION DAY TUESDAY!

This election day marks a very important chapter in history for the people AND the animals in this country.  Prop 2 will be on the CA ballot and by voting "YES", you will help ban the use of gestation crates for pigs and veal and battery cages for hens.  

By voting "YES" to Prop 2 you are giving the animals a voice to say that they deserve to be able to turn around during their short life on earth and do not deserve to be confined to crates and cages INSIDE factory farms.

You don't have to be a vegetarian to care about the ethical treatment of animals, so thank you for your help!
