Looking for a local partner to work with to produce a documentary about the Maasai.

Hi all,

A team of us are hoping to make a short documentary on the Maasia for a UK based NGO. We're a team of 3 and between us have extensive experience producing documentaries and working with minority groups (below is a link to our website). However, we have limited experience working in Tanzania and are looking for a local partner to work with between November and March (TBC - may start as late as January). Ideally someone who has previous experience of film-making in Tanzania that can help with logistics.

Requirements

- fluent Swahili speaker

- previous experience producing films in Tanzania (or at least being aware of local and national bureaucratic hurdles to film-making)

- in depth knowledge and/or experience working with the Maasia

- preferably female
