Hi Gang,

I'm working on a new project and I'm trying to get something working
in Drupal using Kasabi and the Sparql & Sparql Views module.

I've got a new dataset created in Kasabi (currently still in
'unpublished' mode) and I can pull in data to Drupal. That is all
working fine (thanks, once again, to Lin!).

What I'd like to is allow the user/visitor to add terms to a piece of
content, based on selections generated from a Sparql View. This would
seem to be possible, but I can't see a way to connect this to the
Content Type.

Any ideas?

Has anyone tried this in Drupal? It sounds like it should seem possible (always helpful, I know :) ).

Geoffrey, do you have an example of how you'd see the process working in a bit more detail?

Cheers,

Hi Zach,

Happy New Year to you and everyone at Kasabi!

>do you have an example of how you'd see the process working in a bit more detail?

What I've got is a dataset with about 6500+ items in it. The structure
is something like:

- Set A
--- Item A1
--- Item A2
------ Sub Item A2.1
- Set B
--- Item B1

What I'd really like to be able to do is have a series of conditional
select lists, so that we start with a select list that has the top
level 'Sets' available. Once this is chosen we then show all of the
Items in that 'Set', and so on...

In principle, this could be done with the Hierarchical Select module,
but this only supports Taxonomy and Menu.

One idea that I had (but I've no idea how to achieve it) would be to
have a way of creating a Drupal Taxonomy (thus being able to use the
Hierarchical Select module). This would be updated periodically, so
that the local data was always up-to-date. I could probably manage
this by creating a Feeds parser, and running it on cron jobs. But,
this kind of defeats the purpose, as I'd lose all the benefits of
Kasabi.

So, any ideas?

I wonder if anyone else has stumbled across this in Drupal...

Has anyone got a good resource for Drupal support (list, forum, IRC channel, etc)
that might help?

Cheers,
