Hi,

I found the problem that kas does not print the details of the checkout
failure:

```
% cat public.yaml
header:
version: 11
repos:
bitbake:
url: "https://git.openembedded.org/bitbake"
branch: master
path: "bitbake"
% cat private.yaml
header:
version: 11
repos:
bitbake:
url: "https://git.openembedded.org/bitbake-priv"
branch: main
path: "bitbake"
% ./kas-container checkout public.yaml
% ./kas-container checkout private.yaml
2026-01-26 10:46:50 - INFO - kas 5.1 started on Debian GNU/Linux 13
2026-01-26 10:46:50 - ERROR - Could not update repository bitbake:
2026-01-26 10:46:50 - ERROR - Fetching of repo: "bitbake" failed:
```

The two error message miss the details why the checkout failed.

With nothing checked out first, this gives a helpful, but a little bit
unformatted info:

```
% ./kas-container checkout private.yaml
2026-01-26 10:48:22 - INFO - kas 5.1 started on Debian GNU/Linux 13
2026-01-26 10:48:22 - INFO - Cloning repository bitbake
2026-01-26 10:48:22 - ERROR - Command "/work$ git clone -q https://git.openembedded.org/bitbake-priv /work/bitbake" failed:
["fatal: repository 'https://git.openembedded.org/bitbake-priv/' not found\n"]
2026-01-26 10:48:22 - ERROR - fetch repos failed: error code 128
```

Regards, Jörg

Interesting effect, needs debugging.
