At Flipkart we approach testing differently -- we are testing, and breaking, code constantly and help rebuild it better. Software development Engineers in Test (SDET) devise smart testing strategies and write code to examine and validate large-scale software development and deployments. As an SDET, you would partner with software developers and product managers to create and code tests during product development. Your primary responsibilities are

To mitigate potential quality risks across SDLC through pragmatic test coverage
Create repeatability in testing through automation
Enable delivery through good planning, proactive communication and timely execution

You own of the quality of the projects you deliver while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders on all elements of the development process. You will be helping create large scale, performant, reliable and sustainable software.

What experience we’d like you to have:

Anywhere between 0-1 years of experience
You have a strong technical background, are detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms and their space and time complexities. Strong technical aptitude and a good knowledge of CS fundamentals
Good coding skills – should be able to write excellent automation code (C,C++,Java, etc).
B Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college
