Maha Yajnam Preparations at SRIM Center - Call for volunteers - seva Saturday, April 4th

Sri Lalita Sahasranama Maha Yajnam is fast approaching, and we have plenty of work to be done at SRIM center.  We'd like to welcome each one of you to offer your helping hands, and facilitate speedy completion of the preparatory tasks for the Yajnam. From Sat, April 4th onward, every day is seva day; we urge you to come as often as possible and help out with the seva activities. 

List of tasks planned for this weekend:

• Build 8 homa kundas and apply mud on the outer walls of the homa kundas
• 
  
• Help Alice Godyn (our lotus expert devotee) with transplanting lotuses into the lotus pond
• 
  
• Pressure wash and clean painted bricks
• 
  
• Remove tin sheets from old structure on the north side and open it up
• 
  
• Remove stage and Amma's peetam: move them to one corner temporarily
• 
  
• Bring down few hanging flower decorations and wash them
• 
  
• Pressure wash outside walls of yagashala
• 
  
• Paint beams, columns and outside walls
• 
  
• Relocate pine trees to front of restroom trailer
• 
  
• Build kalasam stand (coordinated by Janardana)
• 
  
•  homa kunda brick stacking (guidelines provided)
  

• 
  
• Cut bricks to precision
• 
  
• Mix mud (need someone strong to operate the mixer) and coordinate mud application 
• 
  
• Please bring gloves and any tools if possible.
•
