5.00pm-6.30pm - Kirtan yoga (mantra chants) @ the Temple (or in our gardens weather permitting)
6.30pm - public Bharat Natyam performance @ the Temple
7.00pm - Arati & Kirtan-Yoga mantra music
7.30pm - Vegetarian food served
About the workshop
Karuna Bhavan welcomes you to a special workshop on Bharat Natyam, an Indian classical dance from South India. Led by Chamu, an experienced teacher from Chennai in South India. The workshop promises to be a confluence of Indian classical music and performing arts.
An interactive and participatory workshop, Chamu will talk through her demonstration performance, enabling an appreciation and understanding of the ancient dance form as well as introduce participants to the basics of Bharat Natyam.
After the workshop Chamu will do a public performance for everyone.
