kvrReframe36Ultra is not working

Hi!

After installing newest update of DaVinci Resolve Studio (19.1.2 BUILD 3) kvrReframe360Ultra is not working anymore. When I add it to video, under effects there is kvrReframe360Ultra but no settings are visible and video preview just goes black.

Hi Steve,

The latest Blackmagic Resolve Free/Studio v19.1.2 update breaks .setting file based macros and effects templates on the Edit page. This hurts both VR workflows and title template users. The Resolve Studio v19.1.2 macro/effects template breaking thing means the Kartaverse Edit page warping and reframing tools like STMapperInline, kvrSuperSTMap, kvrReframe360Ultra and kvrViewer don't function on Edit page timelines.

The solution is to stick to Resolve Free v19.0.3, or Resolve Studio v19.1.1. If you upgrade then your Kartaverse experience will degrade.

 I'm just setting up a new Mac mini, and it installed the newest build. Is there a way to go backward in versions so Reframe works?

The latest Resolve Studio v19.1.3 release (finally) includes a bug fix for the Edge page Effects Template glitch. You can now render out your kvrReframe360Ultra and kvrViewer content without issue.

As always, when performing any Resolve Studio update it's a good idea to backup your project databases to individual .drp files on disk.
