Howdy!
I work at a planetarium and this spring we created a show about some of Van Gogh's artwork for our dome. We did this using Zeiss' proprietary show manager software, which is great for creating basic shows for just our dome, but we are looking to increase our capabilites and possibly share our shows with other planetariums. So, I am in the process of remaking the show using Davinci!
I'm looking for any advice on how best to warp planar images when creating a domemaster so that when they are projected they look nice and flat on the dome. Here is an example of one of the paintings features and what the domemaster looks like when the Zeiss software has processed it to look correct for projection. (I'm not worried about the background sky or the city skyline around the edge as they were filmed/created to be domemasters from the jump)

Any pointers on how to achieve this are appreciated! Thanks in advance!
