Hi Austin,
The lowest effort path would be to use either MistikaVR or the QooCam bundled tools. If you are making ultra long duration videos, it is likely more time efficient to use an external tool to stitch the video in advance, and only rely on Resolve Studio for cuts-only style video editing.
If you really wanted to do this task in Kartaverse: The
kvrDualFisheye macro is one route that could be taken to process the media. Alternatively a pair of STMap warping templates could be created using the Kartaverse
ptBatchStitcher node (with PTGui Pro) to process the content in a way that renders slightly faster. The STMaps you create can also be used with Adobe AE, TouchDesigner, and other tools if you desire. This is still a high-effort path to take that only makes sense if someone is very comfortable with the idea of RTFM, likes working in the Fusion page or with using Fusion Studio, and enjoys tinkering with nodal workflows.
Tip: The Kartaverse "
Vonk Ultra" data node toolset is capable of working with GyroFlow motion data exports. This has the potential to allow for IMU (gyro/accelerometer) based stabilization of hand-held 360VR and 180VR immersive video.
Regards,
Andrew
