As part of your XR/immersive workflows, if you work with multi-channel or multi-part EXR imagery in Resolve/Fusion there is an important update for the hos_SplitEXR_Ultra script. This v4 update is available from the Reactor Package manager.
Resolve Fusion page users can now work with MediaIn node based multi-layer content. Previously only Loader nodes worked with the SplitEXR script.
Also, you are able to have the SplitEXR script automatically merge the split apart Loader/MediaIn node content using either "MultiMerge" or "Merge" nodes. An "Alpha Gain Zero" checkbox was added to the SplitEXR script GUI help with multi-pass CG composting, too.
What's Next: Development effort is underway now to update the Fusion based "Cryptomate.fuse" to support multi-part EXR content, and wildcard characters in the matte list.
