Just to say that the following stetement is not really correct:-

[Cathy Phillips] ISP's need to interconnect and host equipment in our
exchanges, like those in BT's exchanges. As yet, no ISP's have shown
interest in offering their services on a surftime product within our
network area.
BT are prohibitted from the installation of equipment as follows
(extract from the BT license):-

"Licensed Area" means the United Kingdom other than the area in which
Kingston Communications (Hull) PLC is licensed to run telecommunication
systems under a licence coming into force on the date on which this
Licence comes into force;

BT also happen to be an ISP. So what chance of Surftime? Or similar
offers - NONE.
