Enterprise risk management (ERM) is a managerial function that must be integrated with organisational

(strategic and operational) processes.  Gone are the days when risk management was managed in

separate silos alongside managerial functions, such as fire and safety, loss control, internal audit,

occupational health and safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, project risk management and

other managerial functions.  The King III Code on Governance stipulates that ERM is the responsibility

of all managers on all levels, and should be practised by all staff on a daily base.

 

AIM

To provide learners will with the knowledge to:

-          understand the background, development path & current dynamics of ERM

-          apply the principles, processes and leading ERM frameworks to their working environment

-          evaluate the success of ERM programmes

and legal compliance officers and all those who need an understanding of risk management and its implementation.
