This is a follow-on of Developing Your Management Potential, offered at CSC 2010. Delegates can attend this workshop at an additional pre-conference fee. Alternatively, delegates can choose to attend this workshop instead of Women @ Work.
Aim:
To assist office professionals and executive assistants in their role as developers and leaders of a team and/or department, concentrating on specific tools of measurement and methodologies.
Contents:
- Eight (8) common themes of successful companies/departments
- Using the conscious and unconscious learning matrix
- Using the SWOT matrix
- Company values and ethics in decision-making
- Using the force field analysis
- Using the JOHARI window
- Using situational leadership
- Using greatest advantage to feedback
- Encouraging a culture of growth and learning
Outcome:
Learners will receive the necessary knowledge to implement a host of new styles and theories with the outcome of focused and effective leadership in the South African context.
