Hi there,

as some of you remember we build this very nice bunnycacher app (more
details at: http://code.google.com/p/gtug-ka-eastern/) as a result of
our hackathon.
Each one of us has its own idea what to do now with the app and i
generally like the idea to extend it a more general geocaching game
that could be played all season. What do you think? How should the app
look like?
One idea that's on my mind is to extend it to some Wichteln caching
(Inspired by this tradition: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wichteln).
In that game the creator of a cache would hide something
he owns but does not need anymore (we all have such stuff) and logs
its position in the app.
Then someone else finds the item and can exchange it with something
else he does not need anymore.
The mobile app would then just log the items.
That's basically just an example what we can do. Let us know your
ideas!

Best,

Marcus

Nice, i would join if it would take place in Stuttgart/Karlsruhe. But
so far it looks like no one is organizing this in our area. Of course
we can do that but we would need to agree on a vision of how to modify
our app first. So I am still waiting on ideas :)

If you or anyone else have interest in a GTUG CampOut in Stuttgart
please express this here: http://www.meetup.com/GTUG-Campout/15297/
It's currently not sure if it happens, but we're discussing it.

Best regards,
Markus
