As salamu alaykum wa rahmatulLah,
Please see the brilliant article attached on Ashura, the 10th of Muharram, from the Wayfarers Team.
The 10th of Muharram, according to local moonsighting, will fall on Tuesday 6th December. You can add the fast of the 9th or 11th of Muharram to it so you fast a total of two days.
The 10th of Muharram is a most blessed day as highlighted in the article; and another opportunity for us to turn back to Allah Most High. As Ustada Badriya recommended, we should ask Allah Most High to save and pardon us just as He did those before us on this blessed day.
