Dear Presidents:
Hope everyone is having a relaxing summer. Just some reminders:
1) CT PTA -- If you did not receive or read your CT PTA mailing you might not know that CT PTA has raised their membership dues to $5.50 per member. Please note this while you are preparing your 2011-2012 budgets.
2) For a school to be eligible for PTA Insurance Coverage, payment is due to CTPTSA office by October 15th. Please tell your treasurers and don’t delay. Also follow up to make sure you have the proper paperwork saying that you are covered. We found that was very important to have before you have an event at your school.
3) Dues must be received by December 1, 2011.
4) Make sure to update your information with new co-presidents and new board members with CTPTSA. If you didn’t receive this form in the mail please check with your past president so that you can change the names and addresses on the account.

New presidents, please contact Michael Dogali at 203-341-1021 or by email: mdo...@westport.k12.ct.us to arrange to have your photo taken for an ID Badge before school begins. If you are a returning president there is no need to contact Michael unless you are in need of a new badge. New stickers with 11-12 date for your badges can be picked-up in my office (room 306) prior to or after the first PTA Brown Bag meeting or if you are in the area during the summer and want to stop into the office between the hours of 7:30-4:30 p.m Monday-Thursday you may do so.
