Hi Kathy,
I am writing to inquire about the status of the Family Portrait Fundraiser at KHS for the fall of 2011.
Of course, I am very interested in being considered again as the photographer for the event.
New this year, I am opening a studio in Westport on Post Road. Therefore, the families will be able to come to my studio if it rains! I will also be able to offer them sessions at my studio if they are unable to attend on the dates of your fundraiser. Of course, as in years past, 100% of the session fee is donated to your organization. No volunteers are needed at the event- we provide all of the staff.
New also this year- if your school signs a multiyear contract for Cynthia McIntyre Photography to be your photographer, you will receive a $250 bonus for each year of the contract.
We have worked very hard for the past two years to ensure that your needs as an organization are met by providing high quality portraiture at reasonable prices as well as providing staffing at the event and handling all registrations/scheduling. I personally attended several “parents night- open house” at the school to promote the fundraiser among the parents in attendance. Our satisfaction guarantee policy has meant that we went above and beyond in meeting the client’s needs anytime we had received word of a problem with an order (which was very rare since we work with a lab that does a fantastic job in printing and filling orders in a timely manner). All orders were filled so that they were received in time for holidays.
Every year I personally receive a great deal of satisfaction returning to Kings Highway to photograph the families and watch the children grow from year to year. Since I have photographed many of them yearly for the past three years it is like seeing old friends! The children smile and sometimes give me a hug because they remember me as the "nice lady that gives them candy". As we part after the portrait session, I frequently hear them say, "see you next year!"
