My name is Kerry, and I work as a genetic counselor. I am in need of information in the Karen language about Down syndrome. I am working with a woman who just received a prenatal diagnosis. Are you aware of any information I could provide this woman? Thanks in advance.

Kerry, I'm also interested in finding out about other medical
information that might be available in Karen, Chin, or Burmese. You
may have noted the information Duane sent us (posted on this
newsgroup) about vaccine information available in Karen through the
Minnesota department of health. I've contacted the person listed on
that website to find out if there's other medical information
available as well, and I specifically mentioned Down's Syndrome. I'll
post it here if I get any further information.

I have a Karen friend whose brother has Down Syndrome. He has been in
America for about eight years. He is willing to help. I can direct
him to you if you still need his assistance.
