Any skin conditions typical to Karen babies?

Are there any skin conditions that cause discoloration of skin on the
torso or bottom of Karen babies?

I think there are.  I don't think it's a condition, necessarily.  Several of the kids we work with it have it.  One of the kids had to have surgery and the nurses were concerned that it was a severe case of abuse, and the translator (a Burmese woman) looked at it, and said that it was a common thing - that she had it too and didn't mean that it was abuse.

If you are speaking of blueish/black discolorations which are
typitally as you said on the torso or bottom, this is perfectly normal
for anyone of asian decent. It will look as if someone has beaten
them, and they are very bruised, but it is totally normal.
