Dear friends and colleagues,
I hope this finds you well. My organization, Results for Development (R4D,) just posted a few positions to be based in Ethiopia and Tanzania to contribute to our exciting mission of creating self-sustaining markets and systems that support healthy, educated people. Personally, I have thoroughly enjoyed contributing to building R4D's Market Shaping portfolio over the past 4+ years, and look forward to welcoming others to R4D to expand our impact even more.
Please let me know if you, or anyone you know, would be a good fit and would be interested in discussing this role. I would also greatly appreciate your help to share the summaries (below) and formal job descriptions (attached) with your networks.
Ethiopia Country Director -- This new Addis-based position will play a strategic leadership role in expanding R4D’s efforts to strengthen health, nutrition and education systems and markets in Ethiopia, as well as to deliver results on the existing portfolio of Market Shaping and Sustainable Financing work in the health and nutrition sectors.
Tanzania Program Officer -- This position will provide day-to-day technical leadership over components of the Market Shaping portfolio, involving developing strategies, structuring complex analytics, and forging strong partnerships with a large variety of stakeholders, to drive increased access to life-saving commodities and services, as part of strengthening health, nutrition and education systems and markets in Tanzania.
Tanzania Senior Program Associate -- This position will provide key analytical and problem-solving contributions to the Market-Shaping portfolio, involving rigorous analysis, skillful stakeholder communications, and supply chain strategies to drive increased access to life-saving commodities and services, as part of strengthening health, nutrition and education systems and markets in Tanzania.
