The Global Health Fellows Program II, implemented by the Public Health Institute, is recruiting for a Senior Innovation Advisor (GHFP-II-P6-249). The Senior Innovation Advisor (Senior Advisor) will serve on the Innovation Design and Advisory Team in the Center for Development Innovation at the Global Development Lab. The role of the Senior Advisor is to technically advise and coach bureaus and missions throughout USAID on how they can be more innovative in their work and help them to design, implement, and test a range of innovation models and design processes to address key health and development challenges, while working to support the broader enabling environment for innovation within the Agency.
Requirements for this position include:
· Master’s Degree or higher in public health or related social science field.
· Minimum ten (10) years’ experience with health programming with at least three (3-5) years’ experience in an international or resource-challenged setting.
· Demonstrated knowledge of innovation models and design processes that address key development challenges.
