Hello, fellow digital health enthusiasts.

Do you want to help improve health care using technology? Then join D-tree as a Project Manager for our Safer Deliveries project in Zanzibar!

In close collaboration with the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, we have provided digital tools to more than 400 Community Health Volunteers who are using them to provide high quality care to pregnant women, supporting facility-based deliveries and postpartum follow-up to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. We're currently scaling up the project across all of Zanzibar and providing additional support to the Ministry to design and implement an emergency referral system that will ensure effective ambulance coordination for obstetric and neonatal emergencies.

We are seeking a full time Project Manager, based in Stone Town, Zanzibar, to lead this project. This is a dynamic and challenging role requiring an individual with experience managing projects, leading and building the capacity of teams, engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who has a passion for technology and innovation.

Are you someone who is just as comfortable developing work plans, schedules and budgets, as you are learning to use software to create mobile applications? Do you have the ability to see the big picture while also having an attention to detail? Do you enjoy thinking analytically about problems and developing logical protocols and processes to solve them? Do you love data and enjoy analyzing it to guide decision making and inform program planning? Are you passionate about developing and leading a team, and committed to capacity building and mentoring?
