Nashville Showcase

Hi Friends and Family:

It's just one week until my trip to Nashville. I'm so looking forward
to this experience. The details of my showcase are finally known.
I'll be performing on Sunday, October 10 at 7:40 pm (show starts at
6:30). The headlining "act" is Voices Of Glory from America's Got
Talent. I'm excited that my Dad is able to travel with me to
Nashville so I'll have at least one supporter in the audience. He'll
stay overnight and then fly back to Columbus the next day. For those
who may not know, my parents live in Quebec, Canada. They will be
making the trek here to Columbus on Tuesday.

I do have a couple prayer requests for the next couple of weeks.

1) I have been afflicted with "shingles" and though it appears to be
a mild case, I still have discomfort and have been feeling a little
discouraged about it. A few of you may recall that last year at this
time, while on my way to showcase in Calgary, AB, I came down with
Swine Flu. It's disheartening to struggle physical battles when I
desire to offer my best to the Lord and His people in song. I am
reminded, however, that "his power is made perfect in weakness".

2) My parents will be looking after my children during the day while
I'm away. Please pray for peace and protection for all.

3) The Lord is challenging me to expect "Above and Beyond" in terms
of how He can use me and my music. I ask that you would believe with
me for new doors to open and for the Lord to fan into the flame the
gifts He's placed in me.

Thank you for your support and prayer. I truly believe that I need
your prayers to the Father on my behalf. Likewise, if there's
something I can pray for you about, please let me know!
