Summer 2013 Happenings

Hello Family and Friends!

 

I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know what's been going on and what's coming up.  I always appreciate your prayer support and your encouragement. 

 

Last week, I was invited to be interviewed and sing for a brand new television show on EWAVE.TV, called, "The Heart of Music."  The show was filmed in Bowling Green, KY, at the home of the show's host and my friend, Sheila Berry.  The show is 45 minutes long and can be viewed here:  The Heart of Music Show.   It's my hope that the interview and songs will encourage people, especially anyone who may have a dream that's largely unfulfilled.  Please share this link with friends through email or on Facebook if you'd like.

 

On July 5th, I will be heading north to Canada to be with my parents and my sister for a couple weeks.  We do this every summer and it's always a highlight as the pace of country life is a welcome change.  This year, I will have a few opportunities to minister in word and song while we're there.  I'll be speaking for Stonecroft (Chrisitan Women's Clubs) in Ottawa and giving a concert at my parents' home church and another church in the area. 

 

The last scheduled "gig" of the summer is one that I've been looking forward to for a long time.  I've been invited to perform with a full band at LAKESIDE, which is a wonderful family camp and conference center on Lake Erie.  The concert will be outdoors, which is an experience I've not had in recent years.  If you have friends or family who vacation at Lakeside, please let them know I will be there on August 18th!

 

An exciting project that fell into my lap about a month ago is to write a song for an Ohio-based business that helps find lost people.  My producer, Felix Weber, and I are busy writing a song that the business intends to use on their website.  Felix and I have great expectations for this song, and think that if done right, it will be a song that can relate in a spiritual context as well.

To be candid, sales have been slow, so if you've been meaning to pick up a copy, I'd be so grateful if you would take a few moments to do so.
