Next week, Nov. 8-13, Kardinal Kink is hosting a spectacular array of public lectures and workshops. To kick things off, we are starting with:
BURLESQUE
Sunday, Nov. 8, 8:00 PM, EPC (Elliot Programming Center)
8-9: Intro to Burlesque Movement (Taught by Tease Blossom)
9-10: Intro to Sensual Submissive Dance (Taught by Cupcake)
Movement. Body Positivity. Performance art. All levels encouraged.
All genders, shapes, identities, and sizes are welcome. People who have never danced a day in their lives are welcome. Everyone is invited!
We are proud to host our second regular guest instructor, Tease Blossom! Tease Blossom is a professional Burlesque dancer who teaches classes and workshops throughout the Bay. She will now be coming in twice a month, in addition to our monthly visits from Clara Bodacious! We still encourage beginners and new members. We will define Burlesque and answer any questions. If you haven't attended a meeting before, you are always welcome.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Burlesque inspired elements are always welcomed (fishnets, heels, gloves, etc.), but not necessary. Prepare to take risks, and prepare to laugh. Clothing removal is always optional, and we never allow nudity.
