MGA KURAKOT, IKULONG! NAKAW NA YAMAN, ISOLI SA BAYAN!

November 26, 2025 | 10:00 AM

Office of the Ombudsman, Agham Road, Quezon City

Former political prisoners led by the Samahan ng Ex-detainees Laban sa Detensyon at Aresto (SELDA) and rights group KARAPATAN will hold a protest at the Office of the Ombudsman to demand full accountability for large-scale corruption and plunder involving the Marcoses.

With the call “Mga Kurakot, Ikulong! Nakaw na Yaman, Isoli sa Bayan!”, the groups urge the Ombudsman to take decisive action to investigate, file charges, and hold to account the Marcoses and his ilk.

In the past year, several key cases against the Marcoses have been dismissed by the Sandiganbayan, including civil and forfeiture cases involving luxury vehicles, hundreds of millions in alleged ill-gotten wealth, and shares linked to alleged Marcos “dummies”. These successive dismissals, said KARAPATAN and SELDA, highlight that from then until now, there has been no full accountability, from Marcos Sr. to Marcos Jr.
