Protest call for junking of terror laws on sixth year of Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020

Human rights organizations, people's organizations, and advocates will hold a Day of Action Against Terror Laws to mark the sixth anniversary of the passage of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 and renew calls for its junking.

Individuals who were charged with violations of what human rights called as the twin terror law, the ATA and the Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act of 2012, will testify on their experiences, and how the law is used to criminalize dissent, as well as humanitarian work, and undermine fundamental rights and freedoms.
