Gate 2, Camp Aguinaldo, EDSA, Quezon City
People’s organizations and human rights advocates led by KARAPATAN and KMP (Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas) will hold a protest action tomorrow, June 4, to oppose the election of the Philippine government to a non-permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
The action seeks to draw attention to the Marcos administration’s record of human rights violations, violations of international humanitarian law (IHL), corruption, and subservience to U.S. interests.
