ADVISORY for JUNE 24: Counsel of missing UP students' families ask NBP to locate convicted general Palparan

The counsel for the families of disappeared UP students Karen Empeno and Sherlyn Cadapan will personally hand over a letter asking the Bureau of Corrections to confirm the location of retired Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan.

This comes after they filed a manifestation before the Supreme Court after gathering information that Palparan may be out of the New Bilibid Prisons, after letters sent by the Supreme Court to the said prison facility were returned with annotations saying "transferred to BUCOR Baguio" and "moved out to PMA Baguio."

On June 26, it will be 20 years since Empeno and Cadapan were abducted by Palparan's men in Hagonoy, Bulacan. Palparan was convicted for two counts of kidnapping and serious illegal detention for the abduction and disappearance of the two students.
