Dear friends and colleagues,

We are sharing with you this sign-on statement initiated by KARAPATAN in support and solidarity to call for the release and dismissal of trumped up charges of the Tacloban 5.

We urge everyone, from the vast sectors of society, from different organizations in the Philippines and abroad, to support and sign on the statement, towards the sixth year since the arbitrary arrest and detention of the Tacloban 5. We also invite everyone to join the Day of Action on February 7. For more information, please see the Karapatan website.

We call on the Philippines government to take action and not anymore delay the injustice against Alexander Abinguna, Frenchie Mae Cumpio, Marielle Domequil, Mira Legion and Marissa Cabaljao.
