Former political prisoners and families to join November 30 anti-corruption protests

“Ikulong ang mga korap, palayain ang mga bilanggong pulitikal!”
Former political prisoners, families of political prisoners and rights group Karapatan will announce plans to join the November 30 protests of Kilos Bayan Kontra Kurakot, to demand accountability for corrupt government officials and their cohorts and reiterate their call to free all political prisoners.
There are currently 737 political prisoners in detention in the different jail facilities all over the country. No known top government official accused of corruption is in jail.
