Members of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan will hold a protest to demand that DND funds allotted for bombs and militarization of rural communities should be realigned to social services.
Large scale corruption in the security sector is also done under the guise of combating terrorism and facilitated by NTF ELCAC. This notorious agency should be probed and abolished for misusing funds and waging a brutal campaign terrorizing communities.
Lastly, the protest will call for the scrapping of arms deals with Israel to ensure that no money will be used to support Israel's genocidal actions in Palestine.
