A Holy Mass for Justice and Truth to remember the victims of Duterte's war on drugs, and to express solidarity with the victims' call for justice.
The Mass happens a day before the first day of confirmation of charges hearing at the ICC.
Before the Mass, ecumenical prayers and candlelighting will be held at Rajah Sulayman Plaza, to be led by leaders of other Churches.
The Mass will be presided over by Most Rev. Gerardo A. Alminaza, DD, President, Caritas Philippines and Chair, Episcopal Commission on Social Action, Justice and Peace — Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
After the Eucharist, Bishop Alminaza will bless the families who are carrying photos of their loved one and flowers. One of the mothers will deliver a message of thanks to the crowd.
NOTE: Interviews may be done with organizers and participating families before and after the Mass.
