For December 2, 2025

PRESS CONFERENCE
Ahead of International Human Rights Day 2025
December 2, 2025 | 10:00 AM | Gerry’s Grill, Matalino Street, Diliman, Quezon City

THEY STEAL MONEY, THEY STEAL LIVES:
Human Rights Situation in the Philippines 2025

KARAPATAN spearheads a PRESS CONFERENCE on December 2, 2025 to present the worsening human rights situation in the Philippines ahead of December 10, International Human Rights Day. It will highlight continuing attacks under Marcos Jr.’s National Action Plan on Unity, Peace and Development, the current administration’s Oplan, implemented by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).

Panelists will present updates on the continuing use of the Anti-Terrorism Law against activists and dissidents, impunity in cases of enforced disappearances, political persecution, and injustices faced by victims and communities nationwide.

This, as KARAPATAN condemns how people’s lives and rights are stolen through large-scale corruption and plunder in the government.

MEDIA COVERAGE IS REQUESTED.
