On November 23, International Day Against Impunity, human rights organizations will stage a protest action calling to revoke the Anti-Terrorism Council’s Resolution No. 41, which designated four Cordillera Peoples Alliance (CPA) leaders Windel Bolinget, Sarah Alikes, Jen Awingan, and Steve Tauli as terrorists.
Happening on the same day, in Baguio City, CPA will be filing a certiorari and prohibition against the Anti-Terrorism Council and the Anti-Money Laundering Council, seeking the court’s intervention to annul their terrorist designation, release their frozen assets, and declare the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 unconstitutional.
Organizations Katribu Kalipunan ng Katutubong Mamamayan ng Pilipinas, Sandugo - Movement of Moro and Indigenous Peoples for Self-Determination, Bai Indigenous Women's Network, Karapatan, among others, will join the protest action.
