Karaka status

Greetings,
I would like to actively support Karaka project. We made a lot of
changes to current Karaka code to make it more stable and we are
working to integrate it with Freeswitch to add voip support.

I tried to get in touch with authors and Vipadia with no success.

I'm making a last contact effort before launching a fork since this is
a very interesting project and it is too bad to leave it abandoned.

Sorry for not being in touch - it's true that there hasn't been a lot
of activity around Karaka lately, but I'd be keen not to see it
abandoned.

Voip integration sounds like a great idea.

Hi Neil,
I have already some code ready for the voip part and we made some
efforts to optimize the code, remove some global variables.

If you think it could be useful I can send you the code we are
working on.
