When the Talmud says Naamah is Noah's Wife it is
wishful thinking. The Jews and their fondness of
scripture made them want to think that was the case.
When analyzing the scripture it does not state Naamah
married Noah. It is naturally a possibility, as she may
be mentioned because of her import and this may be
due to a marriage to Noah. But it is not stated in
scripture as such.

When the Talmud says Potiphar is Potiphera the Priest
of On, whose daughter Asenath married Joseph, this
is the doctrine of wishful thinking. The two names are
different. There is no statement that Potiphera had the connection
to Joseph being Potiphar. This is not stated in scripture.
The Talmudic Pharisees likes to think this was the case -
wishful thinking because of their fondness for the
scriptures - but there is no basis in the scripture itself
to demonstrate the validity of the argument. Technically
it is possible, as Potiphera and Potiphar have similarly
structured names, but there is no scriptural affirmation
of this being the case. It is wishful thinking.

The Talmud likes to say things about the scripture that
the Rabbis want to be true, but which don't stand up on
closer inspection.

Karaite faith is the correct basis for understanding the
Hebrew Bible.
