Hello everybody
To all who applied for the Mentorship program this year, we really appreciate your enthusiasm and thank you for taking the time out to apply. As you know, the role of a Mentor is quite important. We tried to choose those students whom we felt had introspected and experienced sufficiently, at their time here, so as to impart their knowledge effectively to the incoming students.
Keeping this in mind, the Mentorship Review Committee has shortlisted Mentors for next year. Since actual allocation depends on the profile of the incoming student body, it is difficult to finalize everything before the start of the next semester. It is possible, depending on the circumstances, that we might not need all the mentors who have been shortlisted or might need additional applications to cover the shortfall. We request your patience in this matter.
The students who have been shortlisted are
requested to attend an orientation meeting with Professor Visweswaran and the
review committee on the 7th of April, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in II LT 1
