His Citation: He is first qualified Surgical Oncologist in combined State of Andhra Pradesh and Fourth in India.

He worked as Prof. and Head of the Dept.of Surgical Oncology at MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad. 

He played crucial role in establishing Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. He was it's ex director.

He was involved in public education and student education in Kakaitya,Osmania, Gandhi, Guntur and Andhra Medical Colleges including Chalemeda Anandarao Medical College, Karim Nagar.

He did more than 20,000 cancer surgeries in India and abroad.He is a recipient of   UGADI PURASKARM from Govt of Andhra Pradesh 2014. He was bestowed with Dr Chadalavada Krishnaiah Memorial award from Tenali and  Dr Shanmukeswarao Memorial award from Association of Surgeons of India.

 He has published more than 20 research papers on Cancer in International Magazines.Some of the publications ROLE OF SURGERY IN HEAD & NECK CANCER, RECENT TRENDS IN MANAGEMENT OF CARCINOMA COLON & RECTUM<ENDOCRINE MANAGEMNET OF BREAST CANCER Etc. 

He did randomised clinical trails in India.He has conducted many free medical camps in Krishna District.

He conducted many awareness programmes in educating about Cancer and against Tobacco. 

He got actively involved individually for third consecutive year in COMPLETE ALCOHOL FREE VILLAGES in Annavaram and Chilapalem in Mopidevi Mandal, Krishna Dist.
