Yes You have done miss. Pusarla Venkata SINDHU , when India is in darkness with only one medal, Got light to Indian prestige with ONE SILVER MEDAL in Badminton in RIOs OLYMPICS 2016. Sindhu , a 21 years old MBA student from Hyderabad, daughter of Sri.PV Ramana and smt. P.Vijaya, born on 05.07.1995. Her father Mr.Ramana , is a former Volleyball player and a Recipient of ARJUNA award in 2000.
She started playing Badminton at the age of EIGHT years with her First Guru Sri.Mahaboob Ali and later she has taken Sri Pullala Gopichand as her Coach and joined in his Academy in Hyderabad, coming all the way 56 Km everyday. She has made lot of Hard work and even not used Phone since 3 months, before going to Rio. She got so many national and International Awards in Badminton.
She has been awarded with ARJUNA award in 2013 and PADMASHRI award in 2015 by Govt of India.

CASH AWARDS pouring in after getting this prestigious Medal.

1. Hyderabad dt. Badminton Association, president declared Rs.2.05 Crore BMW car and land, to be handed over through Mr. Sachin Tendulkar.

2. CM of Telangana Sri.KCR declared Rs. FIVE Crore cash award.

3. Delhi Govt declared Rs.2.00 crores cash award.

4. CM Chandra Babu declared Rs.3 Crore Cash Award and land in Amaravathi.

4. Madya Pradesh Govt declared Rs.50 lacs Cash award.

5. Badminton Association of India declared Rs.50 lacs Cash Award.

6. Mahindra & Mahindra company declared award of SUV car.
