The 2016 Call for Proposals is Now Open!

The PACF aims to alleviate the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and children’s health. This call is focused on non-governmental and community-based organisations that can deliver change at a community level thanks to their links with, or representation of, the communities affected. Please note: the 2016 Call for Proposals is limited to Large Grant applications only. Large grants have an upper limit of £300,000 over three years and a lower limit of £75,000 (minimum £25,000 per year). No small grant applications are being considered in this round.

Please refer to the PACF Guidance Notes for comprehensive guidance on developing your application, the review process and FAQs. You will be able to find these by clicking here.  All applications must be received by 23:59 GMT on March 29th 2016. Applications submitted after this time will not be accepted.

Every Footstep Counts' Applications are Open!

The Positive Action for Children Fund (PACF) in association with MTV/Staying Alive Foundation and the International AIDS Society are inviting NGOs and community groups worldwide working on PMTCT/eMTCT to take part in our film competition – Every Footstep Counts. The competition aims to showcase and celebrate the successes community partners are making worldwide that are integral to alleviating the effects of HIV.

Groups are requested to produce a 3-4 minute film that documents how the work they undertake is contributing to the end of mother to child transmission of HIV in their community. Videos should be ’in the footsteps’ of either beneficiaries, their team, community health workers, clinic teams or others involved in the project to showcase the very people making positive change a reality.

Two winners will be awarded an unrestricted grant of $10,000 and will be invited to attend the International AIDS Conference in Durban on 18-22nd July, both getting the chance to showcase their work and be recognised for their achievements on an international platform.

The New PACF Online Community

Our new home will allows users to connect, engage and learn from each other by sharing experiences, asking questions and by generating key topic discussions around challenges in the HIV community. It also gives individuals the opportunity to share photos, videos or information about their community projects. Please note: you do not need to be a current PACF Grantee to access our new home – we encourage all non-governmental and community based organisations to join our community!

The PACF Online Community will be launching soon. Make sure to keep an eye out for more information!
