Dear member

How are you? I hope this email finds you well wherever you are at this very moment ;-)

As WGNRR member I am 100% sure you are aware of the preparations for September 28 this year. They are crucial and the campaign needs to be successful!

This is why we need to hear from your country/province/city/community.

In this connection, there are two things that I would like to consult with you.

Firstly, given your close involvement in the abortion rights movement in your country, it will be great if you and your group can also mark this day this year - mobilization, rally, forum, workshop, press conference, community gathering, social media campaign, flash mob etc. – anything you think is appropriate given your local context, political situation and the timeline.

Let me know what you think!!!!! Once decided, please inform us about your event so that it can be features on the Actions page of the September 28 campaign website (with your permission of course).

Secondly, WGNRR is currently developing campaign materials and a special website for September 28. You are equally invited to participate in this process. One of the campaign materials is a collection of real life stories of women/girls being denied/restricted access to abortion services. If you know of a case that powerfully illustrates the reality of women in need of abortion services in your work or community, kindly share it with us.

Send us real life stories of women/girls being denied/restricted access to abortion services.

1. What exactly happen to the women seeking abortion services? - Facts of the story, sequence of events.

2. How did your organisation or broader SRHR movement in your country get involved with the case? Did you ever get threatened or ran any risk because of your involvement in defending access to abortion?

3. Please share with us any accompanying visual materials related to the case if available.

A document of a maximum of 2 pages will be just great. We will consult you further on the use of the case. Please let us know any other important information that needs to be considered, such as privacy issues etc. It goes without saying that your organisation will be credited as the contributor to the campaign material.

If you actively take on organizing an event on September 28, WGNRR will be more than happy to contribute campaign materials – posters, stickers, buttons etc. The materials are currently in development, and can even be adjusted to the local languages and local context if desired.

Thank you very much in advance for your collaboration!

Kind regards,

*******
