Attention: Human rights defenders
- Are you a human rights defender working on minority rights issues in
Africa?
- Are you working on minority rights in one of the following countries:
Algeria, Botswana, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Morocco,
Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda or Zimbabwe?
- Are you looking to increase your advocacy skills and learn more about
minority rights?
- Have you been working or volunteering for an organization working on
minority rights for two years?
If so, then you should
apply for Minority Rights Group's online training on
minority rights advocacy, which begins on 13th August 2012. There will be
another group which will start on 3rd September 2012.
The online course runs for 12 weeks, and you are expected to spend about 3
hours a week on the course. An online tutor will be available to help you
with the learning process.
Participants may get more opportunities to attend regional trainings and
study visits.
The course is offered free of charge to the successful applicants!

on 13th August 2012 and by
24th August for those to begin on 3rd September 2012.
