Dear partner,

Greetings from Kamukunji Paralegal Trust (KAPLET).

As you may know, one of our duties is to build capacities of our members/partners and involving them more in human rights advocacy work around the world. This is done by sharing networking/training/funding opportunities that can enhance their chance to build their capacities in human rights advocacy work.

It's in fulfilling that duty that we want to share with you the opportunity to attend the People's Health Movement Assembly to be held in July 6-12 in Cape Town, South Africa.
The People's Health Movement is an international grassroots network of organizations and individuals that came together in 2000 to reignite the call for Health for All Now! 1500 participants from 94 countries came to the inaugural assembly in Bangladesh in December 2000.
The 2012 event of PHM is planned to be held in Cape Town, South Africa and participants will exchange experiences, share educational materials, do solidarity work, coordinate their positions for international meetings and for lobbying.
Your organization or you as an individual would like to attend? The registration is now open at PHA3
website or at http://www.phmovement.org/en/pha3/registration .

We know that getting scholarship to attend events is critical for many of our members/partners. To help with this we also share the link of the Open Society Institute International Women's Program (IWP) that supports and helps build the capacity of national and regional women’s groups, human rights groups, and other relevant organizations to undertake advocacy, education, and outreach by providing travel grants. Please visit http://www.soros.org/initiatives/women/focus_areas/travel_2009 to apply for travel grant.

Note: PHA3 is not a KAPLET's event and we are not involved in the organizing committee. Please do not send your registration/travel grant application or letter of intent to us. Do it via the link above. We don't provide any further assistance on this than disseminating the information among you.

All the best,
