Pa.rtner had : AQ8, K4, AT63, AQ65.
1. How does he differentiate 15-17 from 18-19 balanced?
2. Does it matter which minor he opens?

1. With 15-16:
- Holding values/length in overcaller's suit, there's little safety in reopening. Consider passing. (This may be alertable, we do.)
- If weak/short in overcaller's suit (ideally xx), a reopening double usually works out okay.

2. With 17-19: 
- Holding stoppers in overcaller's suit, reopen 1N. 
- If weak/short in overcaller's suit, a reopening double can also handle this range.

With the example hand, 1NT.
