failing on windows

new to kanso.

Have installed globally via npm.

on windows 7 64 bit

on latest node 8.4

i get

Look easy to solve by just using node library for the tar aspects.

any ideas if this can be merged into the head ?

I think it can be merged it just needs to be tested more, both on windows and unix sides.

Is there progress in the Windows support?

Not that I know of.  If you can test out the branch it would be helpful.
